Fri 8.3. | 16:00–18:00 | Industry Centre: Terde | In Finnish

Led by Arts Promotion Centre Finland, Tampere Film Festival has been working on a statement in connection with the audiovisual sector. At the event, Kaisa Rönkkö, the director of Arts Promotion Centre Finland, will present the outcomes of this dialogue, engaging the audience in the conversation. The event is open to the public.

The purpose of the cultural policy statement, outlined in Prime Minister Petteri Orpo’s government programme, is to create an ambitious vision for the future, facilitating the long-term development of Finnish art and cultural policy. The statement proposes key measures to achieve the goals. The future vision presented in the statement and the necessary actions are based on the current state of the art and culture sector, as well as the main factors influencing the operating environment. The cultural policy statement will be presented to the Parliament during the autumn session of 2024.
