Tampere Film Festival 2022 competition selections have been made

Selected films, juries and awards 2022
Nearly 7 500 films were submitted to the Tampere Film Festival 2022 competitions which is an all-time record. Festival has three different competitions; the National and International Competitions, and the Generation XYZ Competition for short genre films.
The films selected into the Competitions, will be screened at the festival between 9–13 March both at cinemas and online on the Festhome TV platform. The awarded films will be announced at the Award Ceremony on Saturday, 12 March.

Selected: 64 short films
Countries: 43 countries
Genders: 25 female (39 %), 35 males (55 %), 4 co-directions (6 %)
National Competition
Submitted: 247 films
Selected: 8 feature-length documentaries (over 30 minutes) and 27 short films (under 30 minutes)
Genders: 19 females (49 %), 20 males (51 %).
Generation XYZ
Submitted: 297 films
Selected: 18 films from 17 countries
Countries: 17 countries
Genders: 7 females (30 %), 16 males (70 %)
Festival takes place at cinemas and online between 9–13 March.

The Manse Pride 2025 Screening by Tampere Film Festival Takes Place on Wednesday 11 June
The short film screening TFF GOES MANSE PRIDE: ECHOES OF BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN will be presented as part of the Manse Pride 2025 week.
