The 54th Tampere Film Festival will take place on 6–10 March 2024. We are one of the most significant and largest film festivals focusing on short films in Europe. We are looking for trainees to our team to implement the 2024 festival. As an internship, we offer the opportunity to organize the event in practice. The internship is suitable, for example, for students in the tourism or events industry or persons who need work experience that complements their professional skills. In addition to an internship compensation, we offer a reasonable travel and lunch allowance as well as occupational health care.

PRODUCTION TRAINEE
The duties of a production trainee consist of versatile duties related to festival production and include assisting in production, volunteer coordination and planning festival venues. In addition, the production trainee assists in planning and implementation of the industry and public events. The tasks involve collecting data and materials, their maintenance and archiving, communication with different collaborators, and various organizational tasks.
Internship period: 30 hours/week from 4 December 2023 to 15 March 2024 or by agreement.
We require that the trainee has access to salary support or training support from the educational institution. Internship-level compensation to be paid for work is 1331€/month or according to agreement.
GUEST DEPARTMENT TRAINEE
The guest department trainee assists the guest department in taking care of the festival’s international and domestic guests. The trainee assists with the guests’ travel and accommodation arrangements, accreditation and sending invitations, and ensures that the guests are comfortable at the festival. The trainee also gets to plan and implement various excursions. The tasks involve collecting data and materials, their maintenance and archiving, communication with different collaborators, and various organizational tasks.
Internship period: 30 hours/week from 8 January 2024 to 31 March 2024 or by agreement.
We require that the trainee has access to salary support or training support from the educational institution. Internship-level compensation to be paid for work is 1331€/month or according to agreement.
