Submissions for the 2026 Competitions Are Open!
Submissions for Tampere Film Festival’s International, National and Generation XYZ Competitions 2026 are now open. You can submit your film online via FilmFreeway or Shortfilmdepot.
Submissions for the International and Generation XYZ Competitions are accepted until 3 November, 2025, and for the National Competition until 1 December, 2025. The Early Bird price is available for all competition categories only until early September, so we recommend submitting your film early!
Submission fees and deadlines:
International and Generation XYZ Competition
- EARLY BIRD 12 €/film, deadline 1 September
- REGULAR 14 €/film, deadline 1 October
- FINAL 16 €/film, deadline 3 November
National Competition
- EARLY BIRD 12 €/film, deadline 1 September
- REGULAR 14 €/film, deadline 4 November
- FINAL 16 €/film, deadline 1 December
