Tampere Film Festival 2023 competition films have been selected
Nearly 8 000 films were submitted to the Tampere Film Festival 2023 competitions which is an all-time record. Festival has three different competitions; the National and International Competitions, and the Generation XYZ Competition for short genre films:
Competition films and juries
The films selected into the Competitions, will be screened at the festival 8–12 March both at cinemas and online on the Festhome TV platform.
The awarded films will be announced at the Award Ceremony which will take place this year at Tuulensuu Palace on Saturday, 11 March. Glorious event restaurant Tuulensuu Palace, originally Kinopalatsi, was the venue of the very first Tampere Film Festival in 1970.

Festival takes place at cinemas and online between 8–12 March.
All the films selected into competitions of the festival will be screened on-site in Tampere, Finland, and online at Festhome TV.
The whole Festival Programme is announced and ticket sales for on-site screenings begin on 15 February.
