Accreditation for the 2024 festival has started
Accreditation for the 2024 festival has begun! Accreditation for industry professionals and students is open until 5 March, but you should do it as soon as possible as the Early Bird fees are valid until 12 February.
The fee includes a festival badge that gives you access to reclaim tickets to three screenings per day. Accredited guests will also be offered an extensive professional programme as well as a special programme and events.
In addition, if there are vacant seats left at regular-priced (12€) screenings, you can enter them with your festival badge. The vacant seats will be filled in the order of arrival. Accredited guests receive also the access to the festival’s online programme on Festhome TV. Online programme includes the screenings of Competitions.
Accreditation forms and more information can be found on our Accreditation page.
First glimpse of Industry Events
In honor of the start of accreditation, we can already reveal a few glimpses of upcoming industry events. There will be both familiar and completely new events. The full programme of the festival will be announced on 14 February.
7.3. Tampere Test
Tampere Test is a new event aimed especially for students. The event will give an opportunity for students to show their films to a panel of experts who will give feedback in front of an audience.
8.3. Who Would Buy This?
We challenge all short film makers to introduce their current projects and receive feedback from the prestigious professional jury. A panel of distributors and buyers watches a clip of your film, estimates its potential for distribution and comments on what they see.
8.3. Where is the Money?
What to do with a finished short film? The event will provide concrete examples of where and how films can be sold, and what screening fees are in line with current practices.
7.– 8.3. Script Tampere
Screenwriting event Script Tampere is aimed at screenwriters, both professionals and students of the field, and for everyone else interested in screenwriting. The panel discussions will focus on the profession of a screenwriter and its current topics.
More information will come soon on our Industry Events page.
