Euro Connection 2025 – Call for Projects
Submissions are now open for the 17th edition of Euro Connection short film co-production forum. The event will take place on 4–5 February 2025 during the Short Film Market in Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival with support from Creative Europe MEDIA and PROCIREP.
Finnish productions must apply via Tampere Film Festival. The deadline for submission is 20 October 2024.
Euro Connection is a platform designed for European producers, broadcasters, distributors and financial backers. The pitching and networking event aims at fostering partnerships between European production companies around quality short film projects.
Projects must meet the following requirements to be eligible:
- Animation, fiction, or creative documentary short film;
- Duration up to 30 minutes;
- Project must be partly funded by a third party (external source);
- The producer-filmmaker team is looking for co-production partners;
- Shooting or production shall start no earlier than June 2025.
In each country, national correspondents collect and evaluate submitted projects to nominate the finalist project. A European jury of 3 industry professionals selects up to 12 projects from all finalists projects, who are invited to pitch in Clermont-Ferrand. The invitation includes travel grant (160 €) for the producer, accommodation and meals (4 nights) and accreditation to the Short Film Market. Selected projects will be notified at the end of November 2024.
