This year, a record of 615 films were submitted for the Generation XYZ Competition for genre films. An impressive collection of 22 films from 15 different countries were selected for the series.
Generation XYZ is a short film competition focused on thriller, sci-fi, horror, action, and fantasy films, organised since 2021.

The winners of the 2025 competitions will be announced at the Award Ceremony on Saturday 8 March at Olympia.
