The discussion will explore the impact of mental well being in productions. A group of current and future industry professionals will gather to share their perspectives on how to foster a positive and safe work environment in the field. How can team members –from leaders to employees – promote their own and their colleagues' well-being, recovery, and coping? The aim of the discussion is to explore practical solutions and share experiences that support workplace well being and creativity in film and TV productions.
PANELISTS:
- Producer and COO Erna Aalto (Ilkka’s Creative Studio ICS)
- Screenwriter student Jessica Koskiranta (Tampere University of Applied Sciences)
- Costume designer Maarit Tuononen
- Film director Selma Vilhunen
MODERATOR:
- Sanna Miettinen (work coach, ProCentum)
The discussion is organized by APFI’s Avaus Sustainability Project. As part of the project, the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health published a study on well-being in the film and TV industry in December 2024. The study was carried out in collaboration with SET ry and the Union of Journalists in Finland.
