The Kino Euphoria screening is a dazzling display of fresh indie short films! The screening consists of nine short films from 2024, among them eery, thought-provoking, and silly stories. Makers of these films are present after the screening to tell more about their films and answer audience questions.
All the short films in the screening are produced during the span of just three days in Kino Kabaret workshops held by Euphoria Borealis ry. Kino Kabarets, known less formally as Kinos, are events where participants make short films spontaneously and communally from start to finish in just a few days, and where anyone can try out any role in filmmaking. No diploma needed, passion is enough!
Euphoria Borealis ry, an organisation of the film field, organises Kino Kabarets in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Euphoria Borealis’ mission is to add diverse perspectives, creators, and methods to the Finnish film industry.
