An in-depth conversation with British actor Nick Frost and Dutch director Steffen Haars about their experience of filming in Finland. Moderated by Aram Tertzakian, co-founder of XYZ Films.
One of the topics of discussion is the comedy horror film Get Away (2024) that is directed by Haars, written and starred by Frost, produced by XYX Films and was shot in Tampere in 2023. It's not necessary for the audience member of the masterclass to have seen the film, instead they are given an opportunity to learn from this unique masterclass what doing a production in a foreign country as a talent is truly like.

NICK FROST is an English actor, comedian and screenwriter known especially from the films Shaun of the Dead, Paul and The World's End.
STEFFEN HAARS is a Dutch filmmaker, writer and actor who has built his career especially working with his brother Tim Haars. In addition to Get Away, Haars has worked with Nick Frost in the comedy horror film Krazy House (2024).
ARAM TERTZAKIAN is one of the co-founders of LA-based XYZ Films and a producer of Get Away. Get Away is one of three XYZ productions that have been shot in Tampere, the two others being Dual (2022) starring Aaron Paul and Karen Gillan and The Trip (unreleased) starring Jason Segel and Juliette Lewis.
