KooPee Hiltunen
KooPee Hiltunen’s career in the media industry began in 1994. Today, he serves as the Director of Neogames Finland, the Hub of the Finnish Game Industry. In addition to his role at Neogames, he is a founding member and board member of the EGDF (European Games Developer Federation) and the NGI (Nordic Game Institute), as well as the commissioner of the Finnish Game Developer Studios Association. Furthermore, he serves as a deputy board member of the Finnish Film Foundation for the 2023–2025 term.
In the game industry, KooPee has participated in numerous award juries, though his experience with film juries is limited to activities within his film club. Serving on the jury for the Risto Jarva Award offers him an opportunity not only to delve deeper into Finnish short films but also to enjoy quality time in Tampere and connect with others interested in Finnish cinema.
Anni Rossi
Anni Rossi has worked as an Information Officer at the Creative Europe / Media Desk. Prior to this, she worked as a communications intern and a project coordinator at the Finnish Film Foundation.
Anni recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Sciences. She has also studied gender studies, film and television studies, and Japanese language. In her spare time, Anni actively volunteers at events, including the Queer Gala and various film festivals. In recent years, she has organized a film club for students and alumni of Asian, African, and Near Eastern languages and cultures.
As a jury member, Anni looks forward to experiencing fresh and surprising storytelling and forms. She is especially passionate about animation and socially critical films.
Elina Talvensaari
Elina Talvensaari (b. 1978) is Helsinki-based documentary film director, working as an independent filmmaker and university teacher in documentary film. Her work often combines hybrid techniques with socially complex issues. Her film How to Please won the Risto Jarva Prize in 2024, along with the Special Prize in the National Competition as well as the Youth Jury Prize. Her previous works have been shown internationally in festivals such as IDFA, Tampere and Venice Film festival and won prizes around the world. In addition to filmmaking she loves gardening, with varying results.
