Markus Luukkonen
Markus Luukkonen is the head of communications of the Lahti parishes and the editor-in-chief of the regional Kirkonseutu magazine.
Luukkonen has previously worked as a cultural journalist (2003–2011), a producer for cultural news (2011–2013), and as the news editor (2013–2018) for the newspapers Etelä-Suomen Sanomat and Itä-Häme. He has written for many music magazines and writes regularly for Rondo magazine.
Luukkonen has been involved in the operation of the Church Media Foundation since 2018, first as a member of the governing board, and since 2023 as a deputy member of the board of directors. When it comes to watching films, he prefers the Kino Iiris cinema operated by the Päijät-Häme film centre.
