Industry Events 2026 Released

The industry events for 56th Tampere Film Festival have now been released. The industry programme, aimed at accredited industry professionals and students, offers once again a wide range of interesting events during the festival week.

This year’s industry events were selected through an open call held in autumn 2025. A good number of event applications were received, and the most suitable ones were selected for the programme.

The programme includes familiar events from previous years, such as Who Would Buy This?, as well as new concepts, such as the TFF Film Industry Fair. The discussions will delve into topics including casting, scriptwriting grants, copyright issues, and festival networks.

For some events (Who Would Buy This? and Work in Progress), participants can submit their own short film projects by 2 February. Registration forms can be found on each event’s information page. In addition, Script Tampere 2026 and Brief Encounters for Actors and Directors require advance registration from all participants – registration instructions will be added to our website soon.
