Join us to learn about Creative Europe’s funding opportunities for the audiovisual sector, explore MEDIA-supported festival networks, and meet the local Media Desk team! The national programme desk for EU's Creative Europe programme will host an event as part of Tampere Film Festival’s industry programme, combining a case study and a call info session.
Our case study will take a closer look at the Networks of European Festivals call, which will be open for applications again this spring. This is the programme’s second MEDIA support for film and audiovisual festivals, aimed at fostering collaboration through international networks.
From Finland, the festivals supported in the previous 2024 call include Tampere Film Festival (European Short Film Audience Award), Midnight Sun Film Festival (Archive Film Festival Network), and Oulu International Children’s and Youth Film Festival (NoJSe). At the event, these festivals will showcase the activities of their networks.
Creative Europe offers many funding opportunities for the audiovisual sector. During the session, we will go through the calls open in spring 2026 and share preliminary information about the programme’s future.
SPEAKERS:
- Ari Lehtola (Midnight Sun Film Festival)
- Mika Anttolainen (Oulu International Children's and Youth Film Festival)
- Jukka-Pekka Laakso (Tampere Film Festival)
