Voting Instructions
The festival audience can vote for their favorite films at Tampere Film Festival’s National, International and Generation XYZ Competitions between Wed 5 March at 15:00 – Sat 8 March at 18:00.
Each screening has its own individual voting form, where the films can be scored on a scale of 1–5. The highest score is 5 points, 1 point is the lowest. The same form works for both online and cinema screenings.
You can only vote once per screening. The winners of the National, International and Generation XYZ Competitions will be announced at the Award Ceremony on Sat 8 March at Olympia.
The European Short Film Audience Award (ESFAA) voting takes place only during the screenings. Voting instructions will be displayed on the big screen after the screening ends. Please note that in the ESFAA voting, you cannot vote for Finland’s nominee.
European Short Film Audience Award screenings go on a tour at all ESFAA network festivals. The award goes to the film that receives the most total votes during the tour. The winner will be announced at the Brussels Short Film Festival in April 2025.
