The European Film Academy will host the European Film Awards 2026 gala on Saturday, 17 January, in Berlin. The event’s livestream can be watched on Tampere Film Festival’s website.
The event begins at 19:00 Finnish time (18:00 CET), and the livestream will be added to this page before the event.
Among others, the winner of the European Short Film – Prix Vimeo award will be revealed. The film selected by Tampere Film Festival for nomination, Being John Smith (UK, 2024), directed by John Smith, advanced from among 30 nominees to the final shortlist and is competing for the award.
