    Eating Time
    Director: Mari Kivi
    Country: Estonia
    Year: 2025
    Genre: Animation
    Duration: 17 min

After an explosion, an elderly woman finds herself in a shoemaker's workshop. She embarks on a journey through a labyrinth of floors, living simultaneously in the here and now and in the dusty past. On her journey to her childhood, she meets her past self and passes through rooms of her memory lane. As a young girl, she swallowed a key that opened a door to an endless maze of passageways. Once trapped in a room of the past, she must perform an equivalent eating ritual to trigger a time shift and continue her journey through long corridors and more rooms. Back in childhood, the woman tries to eat her way through time again, but the inexorable rhythm of the machinery of life keeps on ticking.

  • Safo

    Sappho
    Director: Rosana Urbes
    Country: Brazil
    Year: 2025
    Genre: Experimental, Animation, Documentary
    Duration: 13 min

An animated short film openly inspired by both the process of creating animated films, and by fragments of poems by Sappho (Island of Lesbos, 600 BC), the first female author known to the Western World. The surviving fragments of her poems reveal a connection with nature that inspires the aesthetics of the film: the characters are painted with natural inks, and the settings consist of stop-motion animation of plants and leaves collected in the park, and light, shot on a multiplane table. The narrative, in rhyming animated images, alludes to Sappho’s poetic expressions and the multiple readings of her figure throughout history.

In search of a bullet whose trail has been captured on surveillance camera footage, the film follows its trajectory and those of its main protagonists. Blending the early cinema technique of chronophotography with CGI, Sixty-seven Milliseconds questions the legitimacy of policing in France and warns of its excesses.

A music short film companion to Mac Miller's posthumous album Balloonerism, created in collaboration with his family. When a chord organ's haunting melody transfigures a group of school friends, they're thrust into a shadow realm where childhood dissolves into the dark waters of adulthood. Pursued by the relentless turtle of time, they navigate a surreal underworld that mirrors Mac Miller's lyrical exploration of innocence lost, self-destruction, and the weight of growing up.
