Last Chance to Enter the National Competition – Submission Closes on 1 December
Submission for Tampere Film Festival’s 2026 National Competition is only open for a few more days – the final deadline is Monday, 1 December 2025. Submit your film before it’s too late!
The National Competition includes categories for short films of up to 30 minutes as well as films over 30 minutes. In both categories, the Main Prize is 5,000 euros and the iconic Kiss statuette.
To participate in the National Competition, a film must have a Finnish director or producer. More detailed requirements and instructions for entering can be found on our website in the Competitions page: National Competition 2026: Rules & Regulations
The final selections for the competitions will be announced by the end of January 2026. The selected films will be screened at Tampere Film Festival from 4 to 8 March 2026, and the Award Ceremony will take place on Saturday, 7 March.
