Anne Puolanne
Anne Puolanne is an audiovisual industry professional whose core expertise includes both working in productions and enabling the industry’s sustainability. Since 2021, she has worked as a sustainability manager at Audiovisual Producers Finland (APFI). APFI’s Strategy on Sustainable Development aims to foster a more environmentally conscious work culture within Finland’s film and TV industry. Puolanne has produced five national reports on sustainability, two of which focus on productions, two on sustainability on-screen and one that examines the entire audiovisual sector in Finland. Puolanne has been the Head of Jury of Sustainability Award Verso since it was created, 2022.
Heikki Aittala
Heikki Aittala is a professional in the experience economy, creative industries, and nature tourism development. He works as a senior specialist on various projects related to the development of the experience economy and tourism. After many twists and turns, he has settled in Manse and is a Tampere-based professional who sees responsibility as a holistic concept closely connected to environmental impact, accessibility, and regional wellbeing. Heikki has a special place in his heart for Pispala, the climbing boulders of Pirkanmaa, and snowy cross-country ski trails. In his free time, he enjoys culture and the arts at Tampere’s best live music venues and museums.
J.J. Vanhanen
J.J. Vanhanen is a Helsinki-based filmmaker, born and raised in the Finnish countryside. He was voted the Finnish Screenwriter of the Year for his work on the youth drama series The Short Fuse. Vanhanen has also written and directed multiple short films, including About the Birds and the Bees, which was awarded a Special Mention of the Youth Jury at the Tampere Film Festival and was subsequently picked up by the streaming service Disney+. He was also the producer of the short film Fish River Anthology, which won the Risto Jarva Prize and four other prizes in the 2025 edition of the festival. Vanhanen likes to spend his free time cycling around the globe, and will happily tell you all about it.
