AJ Annila
Finnish filmmaker AJ Annila is best known for his visuals and unconventional subject choices. His films have won multiple International awards and have had their premieres on A-list festivals. In addition to films AJ has directed three series, commercials and has been awarded for promoting humanity in feature film work.
Jana Riemann
Jana Riemann is a German-Ukrainian film programmer and curator with an academic background in film studies. She is part of the Berlinale Shorts selection committee, Head of the Short Film section at the Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin, and a preselector for Docudays UA and Kyiv International Short Film Festival. Her work is complemented by a sustained interest in genre film, particularly horror, and in unconventional and eccentric forms of cinema.
Marisha Rasi-Koskinen
Marisha Rasi-Koskinen is a writer and psychologist who publishes fiction for both adults and young readers. Her novel REC (2020), which explores photography and the use of power, was awarded the Runeberg Prize and the Tulenkantaja Prize, while her young adult novel The Dark Side of the Sun (Auringon pimeä puoli, 2019) received both the Finlandia Prize for Children’s and Young Adult Literature and the Nuori Aleksis Prize. Her most recent work, Kesuura (2025), examines embodied consciousness and multispecies existence from the perspective of an android narrator.
Visuality is an important source of inspiration for Rasi-Koskinen’s artistic work. Alongside writing, she practices photography and has collaborated with photographers, video artists, and visual artists by writing texts for various works. The Tampere Film Festival has held a special place in her heart for many years.
