Tampere Film Festival and the Federation of Tampere Ev. Luth. Parishes will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Festival together and organize two free-of-charge events during the Festival week.

The Phantom Carriage by Victor Sjöström (Sweden, 1921) will be screened at the Tampere Cathedral with an organ accompaniment on Friday, March 6th at 7pm.  The film will be accompanied by organist Esa Toivola, like The Burglary last year.

Family event Minikino Festival will take over the Tampere Cathedral and the church park on Saturday, March 7th, at 11am–1pm. The event includes face painting, balloon folding and activities organised by the scouts. To top it off, the children’s music duo Höpinätötterö will accompany Robin Shaw’s animation The Tiger Who Came to Tea (UK, 2019).

Both events are free-of-charge.
