Do you ever wonder how it would be like to walk a day in someone else’s shoes? Virtual reality and 360º videos enable this by pulling the viewers into a whole new world. With VR goggles, you are able to turn your head and look around, see what you want, when you want. Viewers will have a different experience of the same film depending what they pay attention to.

When traditional films tell us what is happening, 360º and VR films demonstrate how it is like in here.

Almost anybody is able to create technically passable VR and 360 content. However, there is a crying need for compelling stories. An engaging narrative turns mere content into an immersive and exciting expericence.

Tampere Film Festival’s Open Eyes VR seminar explores VR and 360º content from different angles by discussing the best practices, providing insight through case studies and even attempting to predict the future. Open Eyes VR is an introduction to the fascinating and ever-evolving world of virtual reality. After participating, you will be ready to start creating your very own VR and 360 experience!

Come to listen, learn and collaborate. It’s free!
