Are you in the mood for a change?

The Open Eyes programme centres around new audiovisual phenomena: virtual (VR) and augmented (AR) reality, interactivity and crossmedia.

You will have the opportunity to experience the most beautiful and daring VR and AR works of the moment at the Open R Lounge! in the Festival Centre. The varied programme will be free of charge throughout the festival. The Stage programme includes presentations by industry professionals, encouraging casual follow-up discussions and networking.

At the Festival Centre’s Open R Beta! booth you will see new industry innovations: the DDD60 project resulted in technology, whose purpose is to enhance the viewing experience of 360° content and make it easier to share with the public.

The series What can new media do? Open R Talks! will offer an extensive overview of this past AR/VR year and envision the future of mixed reality storytelling. Presentations and panel discussions will be held at the Werstas auditorium on Thursday and Saturday.

A detailed programme can be found on our website and at the Festival Centre. The programme is in English. Free entry!
