In the small, central Polish town of Aleksandrow Kujawski, the director of the local culture centre announces a competition. The theme … a creative presentation of your personal patriotic attitude. Entrants are free to demonstrate their creativity in whatever form they like; in song, recitation or gesture, by giving a speech or staging their piece. Anything goes. There’s just one requirement; entrants may only present their own, original work. The eleventh day of the eleventh month arrives … Poland’s Independence Day. And on this very day, the jury, consisting of the director, the mayor, a priest and a local poetess, will select the region’s number one patriot.

“Don’t Lose Your Head” – a short animation using drawing and 2D techniques. It is a visual story about how easy it is to lose one’s head. A white head rolls slowly towards the centre of a black screen. One event triggers an avalanche of others. The visual side of the film develops with the film narration. Starting from simple compositions through successive number of layouts and density of forms up to the final scenes full of colours like in a kaleidoscope. An abundance of thoughts, relations and connections leads to a tragic ending.

Object is a creative and abstract image of a underwater search. The action takes place in the dimensions of two worlds – ice desert and underwater. The story is told from the point of view of the rescue team, of the diver entering the underwater all covered by ice, and of the ordinary people awaiting on the shore.

‘Black’ (‘黒’) tells about a pair of astronauts trapped on an orbital space station because of a nuclear war that erupted unexpectedly on Earth. They lost contact with Earth and all attempts to communicate with their base or anybody else have failed. All they can do now is watch nuclear explosions taking place on the surface of the Earth and try to survive together somehow…

The film is a story of a meeting, made in one shot. During just a few moments the lives of the two women, who are complete strangers, bump into each other. They meet for the first time when the younger tries to steal the handbag from the elder. But instead of solving the problem assisted by the police, women make an exceptional arrangement. Despite unfavorable circumstances they eventually help each other.
