The first day of the 50th Tampere Film Festival includes Climate and Australian First Nations themed short film screenings, EFA candidates and twisted Midnight Mov(i)es at late night. First Competition screenings (National Competition 1, National Competition 2, International Competition 1) will also start today, and Opening Screening will kick off the Festival
officially at Plevna 2 at 6 pm.
Tickets are still available to all of today’s screenings, so please join us! We recommend warmly every single screening of the Festival but especially we’d like to point out that Competitions and EFA Shorts screenings are particularly high-quality this year!
Simply the Best: Lobby Club screening at Tampere Hall’s Winter Garden has already started today at 9 am. Approximately an hour-long loop is screened at Winter Garden during the festival week until Sunday and it is free of charge.
Please remember to go and check out the video mapping art at Väinö Linna Square tonight starting at 6 pm. Vide mapping art will be also screened to Tampere Cathedral at Friday evening and Tullikamari at Saturday evening.
