The industry events for 56th Tampere Film Festival have now been released. The industry programme, aimed at accredited<\/a> industry professionals and students, offers once again a wide range of interesting events during the festival week.<\/p>\n

This year’s industry events were selected through an open call held in autumn 2025. A good number of event applications were received, and the most suitable ones were selected for the programme.<\/p>\n

The programme includes familiar events from previous years, such as Who Would Buy This?<\/a>, as well as new concepts, such as the TFF Film Industry Fair<\/a>. The discussions will delve into topics including casting<\/a>, scriptwriting grants<\/a>, copyright issues<\/a>, and festival networks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For some events (Who Would Buy This?<\/a> and Work in Progress<\/a>), participants can submit their own short film projects by 2 <\/strong>February<\/strong>. Registration forms can be found on each event\u2019s information page. In addition, Script Tampere 2026<\/a> and Brief Encounters for Actors and Directors<\/a> require advance registration from all participants \u2013 registration instructions will be added to our website soon.<\/p>\n

Industry events are for accredited visitors only. All public events will be announced on 10 February<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
