\"Lyhytelokuvap\u00e4iv\u00e4The International Short Film Day will be celebrated in Finland for the 13th time on <\/span>21 December 2025<\/b>, with festivities l<\/span>asting for up to two weeks between <\/span>8\u201321 December 2025<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the third year in a row, Short Film Day offers an opportunity to participate in the event through the Open Screen category, where anyone can submit their own short film.<\/span><\/p>\n

From the submitted films, the best ones will be selected as part of the official Short Film Day programme. These selected films will be compiled into a film package, which can be ordered for viewing across Finland<\/span> in both private and public events.<\/span><\/p>\n

Submission <\/span>for Open Screen is <\/span>open until<\/span> 31 October, 2025.<\/b> Whether you’re an amateur, an emerging film enthusiast, or an experienced professional, you can submit your film using the Google Forms submission form<\/a>!<\/span><\/p>\n
