Tampere Film Festival and Pirkanmaa Film Centre<\/a> are teaming up once again for a series of short film screenings this autumn at Arthouse Cinema Niagara<\/a>! The first collaborative screening takes place on <\/span>Thursday, 28 August<\/b>, featuring Polish animation in the programme O!PLA FOCUS ON POLAND vol. 13. The screening presents the audience award-winning films from the 2025 O!PLA Animation Festival.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next screening will follow on <\/span>Thursday, 4 September<\/b>, showcasing eight short films from Southern Estonia in the screening Arts of Survival: Short Films from Estonia.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Thursdays, 11 and 18 September<\/strong>, the best films from the Budapest Short Film Festival will be shown in the screenings <\/span>BuSho \u2013 Award-Winning Hungarian Short Films part 1<\/span> and part <\/span>2.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

On <\/span>Thursday, 25 September<\/b>, award-winning short films by <\/span>Thanasis Neofotistos<\/b> as well as <\/span>Mihai Grecu<\/b> and <\/span>Thibault Gleize<\/b> will be screened. The screening concludes with <\/span>Kevork Aslanyan\u2019s<\/b> dark comedy <\/span>Getting Fat in a Healthy Way<\/span><\/i> (Bulgaria, Germany, 2016).<\/span><\/p>\n

Tickets for the screenings are 5 \u20ac, available on Niagara’s website<\/a> and at the cinema’s box office.<\/span><\/p>\n
