Selected films, juries and awards 2022<\/a><\/p>\n

Nearly 7 500 films were submitted to the Tampere Film Festival 2022 competitions which is an all-time record.\u00a0 Festival has three different competitions; the National and International Competitions, and the Generation XYZ Competition for short genre films.<\/p>\n

The films selected into the Competitions, will be screened at the festival between 9\u201313 March both at cinemas and online on the Festhome TV platform. The awarded films will be announced at the Award Ceremony on Saturday, 12 March.<\/p>\n

\nCountries: 43 countries
\nGenders: 25 female (39 %), 35 males (55 %), 4 co-directions (6 %)<\/p>\n

National Competition<\/h4>\n

Submitted: 247 films
\nSelected: 8 feature-length documentaries (over 30 minutes) and 27 short films (under 30 minutes)
\nGenders: 19 females (49 %), 20 males (51 %).<\/p>\n

Generation XYZ<\/h4>\n

Submitted: 297 films
\nSelected: 18 films from 17 countries
\nCountries: 17 countries
\nGenders: 7 females (30 %), 16 males (70 %)<\/p>\n
