Konsta Airevuo
I am Konsta Airevuo, a third-year student at Sampo Central Upper Secondary School’s communication line. I have been interested in many forms of art since I was little, but cinematography and video editing have really become my passion.
Film is such a versatile artform, which is why it is very difficult to name just one aspect of it as the most interesting one. If I must choose one, the first that comes to mind is cinematography and how the story and character’s emotions can be portrayed without dialogue.
Oona Kaskinen
I am Oona Kaskinen, a second-year student at the skateboarding line of the Sampo upper secondary school. Various sports, music and handcrafts have always been a big part of who I am. More recently, I have picked up skateboarding, which has broadened my world in many ways.
Photography and cinematography courses have grown my interest in the technical aspects of films. I hope that in the future, I can utilise my camera skills in a versatile way.
Emsi Rosenius
My name is Emsi Rosenius, and I study media and visual expression at the Tampere Vocational College Tredu. I moved to Tampere from Eastern Finland to better acquire the basic skills in audio-visual content creation. As a means of expression, I am most interested in animation in all its forms.
I have loved stories since I was little. I have loved to tell them, and later to read and write them. I have always wanted to tell stories for a living, in one way or another. That is why I know the characteristics of stories and a good plotline, and media analysis is one of my hobbies. I cannot wait to see all the unique stories from the contestants.
Lotta-Mari Saari
I am Lotta-Mari, a third-year student of the Tammerkoski upper secondary school. I study in the art and design line. I have always enjoyed expressing myself visually in different ways. Making my own clothes and photography are my favourite outlets. I think art is a nice way to express oneself and to understand others.
I have become more interested in the steps of filmmaking during the film courses at school. Producing my own films has been fascinating. I have also participated in the making of a nature film and learned more about the cinematographer’s work. The coolest part of films is how all the different phases create such a detailed and unique piece of art.
Henni Sainio
I am Henni Sainio, a third-year student in the Tampere Arts-Oriented Senior Secondary School, and I am interested in the film industry. I like photography and all kinds of film-related activities. I am drawn to film by the possibilities of visual expression and how big an influence film can have on people and on the society as a whole.
In the future I would like to work in the film industry either in film production or in film studies. Directing interests me the most, and I have, in fact, directed two short films.
